FAME Renaissance Micro-Loan Program
An alternative source of funding for small businesses who cannot qualify for conventional bank financing. Loan Size: $2,000 to $20,000.  Target Customer: New and existing businesses - entrepreneurial training required for businesses in operation two years or less.

Los Angeles Community Development Bank
Working in partnership with community institutions, businesses and civic leaders, assists with relocation issues, and provides non-traditional loans, venture capital, technical assistance to successfully attract, start and expand business opportunities.  Information on its micro lending program available.

Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program
Established to facilitate larger real estate based projects that will result in economic and physical revitalization of the City of Los Angeles. The major goal is to provide jobs and to maintain and increase the availability of goods and services for low and moderate income residents of the City. This program targets areas primarily in the Empowerment Zones, Enterprise Communities, State Enterprise Zones, and Revitalization Zones. Funds may be used for real estate acquisition, construction or renovation, related costs of fixtures and equipment, and other project related costs.
